One of the best things about living at my place is the random things that happen here. Last night some interesting folks from D.C. were visiting their friends who sublet one of our rooms and let loose with their fire spinning skills in our backyard after dark.
The funny thing is that earlier in the day I was thinking about how I want to get better at shooting fire. It very rarely comes out like I want it to so it was great to have the opportunity to practice (I took about 200 total shots of three different spinners) and see what camera settings, etc, worked the best. I’m really happy with several of the shots but this is, by far, my favorite.
