One of the reasons for doing this photoblog is to have a, literally, a snapshot of at least part of my day. It’s fun to look back through the dates and remember the things that happened based on these images. On this day we celebrated Talia’s birthday with a day at Delores Park here in San Francisco. We set up a whole living room complete with a big couch (pictured, of course), chairs, carpets, tables, and even plants and lights (naturally, we had a generator, too). Here’s a tip: if you want to attract a ton of attention and have strangers come up and ask to hang out with you, bring your living room to the park.
Unfortunately, there is some weird rule about not bringing furniture to this park. Apparently, they don’t want you to drag a couch and other stuff out there and then just abandon it when you get bored. So some neighbor called and complained forcing The Man to come over tell us to pack up the bigger pieces. So we took a family photo (i’m posting the one that I took, sans me, rather than the one that some passing stranger snapped that didn’t really turn out very well) and then carried the couch away with Talia on it. Fun times.
