“Tanang” (and I’m likely spelling this wrong, so please correct me if you know any better) is the Indonesian equivalent of “peaceful” or “serene”. When I look at one of the many Buddha sculptures around my current home this word comes to mind. This is the one resting on top of our kitchen cabinet. I like to think that the “spirit” of our eating utensils is a little extra calm and chilled out
